I'm relatively new to VMware Fusion (but I'm a long-term user of VMware Workstation on Windows). I'm using Fusion specifically to have virtual machines running Mac OS X. I've installed VMware Tools on a Lion virtual machine, but it's not clear if that does anything.

Step #1. Download the patch tool for macOS High Sierra.

Note: The VM Tool iso file is in the Tools folder in Patch tool.
